This Privacy Policy explains how GetEstimateFast collects, uses, shares, and protects information when customers request service estimates, professionals create accounts or public profiles, or anyone uses our website and related services.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use GetEstimateFast, we may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, city, ZIP Code, preferred contact method, project or service details, photos or other project information, professional business information, service categories, coverage area, public profile content, reviews, and communications with us.

For professional accounts, we may also collect account authentication information, consent records, profile settings, SMS preferences, opportunity activity, wallet or transaction records if those features are enabled, and information needed to operate public professional profiles.

We may also receive technical information such as browser and device information, IP-derived security or rate-limit signals, pages visited, referral information, and analytics events. We may use cookies or similar technologies where applicable.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and improve GetEstimateFast; receive and review service requests; match requests with relevant independent professionals; create and display professional profiles; administer professional accounts; prevent duplicate, fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe activity; provide customer support; send transactional communications; maintain records of consent and platform activity; analyze site performance; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. How customer requests are shared

GetEstimateFast is a connection platform. When a customer submits a service request, project information may be made available to independent professionals based on factors such as service category and service area. Customer contact information may be released to professionals who receive authorized access under the platform's rules.

If a customer submits a request through a specific professional's public profile and agrees to share the request, that originating professional may receive the customer's contact information after the request is reviewed and published. Other eligible professionals may also be offered access under applicable marketplace rules.

4. Public professional profiles

Professionals may choose to publish profile information such as display name, business name, service categories, service area, biography, portfolio content, languages, and approved reviews. Contact information is displayed publicly only when the professional has chosen to publish the relevant field.

5. Reviews

Reviews submitted through GetEstimateFast may be moderated for integrity, relevance, abuse, or policy compliance. Approved reviews may appear publicly on a professional's profile. We may retain internal moderation and reporting records.

6. SMS and email communications

Transactional emails may include account confirmation, service-request updates, security messages, and support communications. Professionals may separately opt in to receive opportunity-related SMS alerts if that feature is available. SMS consent is optional and may be withdrawn through available account controls or by following the opt-out instructions in a message. Message and data rates may apply.

7. Service providers and platform vendors

We may use third-party providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, storage, payment processing, communications, security, and other infrastructure. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.

8. Payments and financial records

If paid marketplace features are enabled, GetEstimateFast may maintain records of prices, credits, purchases, refunds, promotions, and related transaction events. Payment card or bank information, when required, may be handled by a third-party payment processor rather than stored directly by GetEstimateFast.

9. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, maintain transaction and consent records, support users, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal or accounting requirements. Retention periods may vary by record type.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their account credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

11. Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask about your information, request corrections, or request deletion where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, transaction history, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Professionals can control certain public-profile and communication settings through available platform controls.

12. Children

GetEstimateFast is intended for adults seeking or offering local services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and version shown above and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
