Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of GetEstimateFast by customers, visitors, and independent service professionals. By using the platform or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. What GetEstimateFast does

GetEstimateFast is a connection and marketplace platform that helps people describe service needs and helps independent professionals discover potential project opportunities. GetEstimateFast does not itself perform the requested services and is not the employer, contractor, agent, partner, or representative of the independent professionals using the platform.

2. No guarantee of estimates, hiring, pricing, or outcomes

Submitting a request does not guarantee that any professional will respond, provide an estimate, accept a project, or perform work. A professional's decision to respond is independent. Any estimate, scope, schedule, warranty, payment arrangement, contract, permit responsibility, or other project term is agreed directly between the customer and the professional unless GetEstimateFast expressly states otherwise for a specific platform feature.

3. Customer responsibilities

Customers must provide information that is reasonably accurate and must not submit unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or intentionally duplicate requests. Customers are responsible for evaluating professionals and for verifying any license, insurance, registration, permit, experience, qualification, or other requirement relevant to the work before hiring.

4. Professional accounts

Professionals must provide accurate account and business information, keep their contact information current, protect their credentials, and use the platform only for legitimate business purposes. Professionals must comply with applicable laws and any licensing, permitting, insurance, advertising, consumer-protection, and trade requirements that apply to the services they offer.

A GetEstimateFast profile, listing, account status, or opportunity access does not constitute certification, endorsement, licensing, or a guarantee of quality by GetEstimateFast.

5. Public professional profiles

Professionals may create public profiles containing business information, service categories, service areas, portfolio content, and other information they choose to publish. Professionals represent that they have the right to provide and publish submitted content and that the information is accurate and not misleading.

6. Customer requests submitted through professional profiles

A customer may submit a request through a specific professional's public profile. If the request is accepted for publication under platform rules, the originating professional may receive the customer's contact information without a marketplace contact charge. Other eligible professionals may also be offered access to the opportunity under applicable marketplace terms.

7. Opportunity access, contact purchases, and credits

Some marketplace features may allow professionals to use credits or other approved payment methods to obtain access to customer contact information. When paid access is enabled, the price and applicable conditions should be shown before a purchase is completed. Availability, buyer limits, expiration periods, promotional credits, refund eligibility, and other commercial terms may vary by opportunity or promotion.

Promotional or bonus credits may have different conditions from purchased credits. Unless otherwise stated, credits have no cash value outside the platform and may not be transferred between users.

8. Payments

If payment features are enabled, payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. GetEstimateFast may maintain transaction records needed to administer purchases, credits, refunds, disputes, and promotions. Additional payment terms may be presented before a transaction.

9. Reviews and platform content

Users must submit reviews and other content based on genuine experiences or legitimate platform activity and must not use reviews to harass, impersonate, defraud, manipulate ratings, or publish unlawful content. GetEstimateFast may review, reject, hide, or remove content when reasonably necessary for integrity, safety, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.

10. Communications

By providing an email address, users may receive transactional communications related to requests, accounts, security, or support. Optional marketing or opportunity-related SMS communications require the applicable consent. Consent to SMS is not a condition of using the basic customer request service.

11. Prohibited conduct

You may not use GetEstimateFast to violate law; impersonate another person or business; scrape or harvest personal information; interfere with platform security; introduce malicious code; manipulate reviews or marketplace activity; resell customer contact information without authorization; spam users; misuse payment, refund, promotion, or credit systems; or access data or accounts without permission.

12. Account restrictions

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, abuse, security concerns, nonpayment, legal requirements, repeated policy violations, or activity that creates risk to users or the platform. Where appropriate, we may request additional information before restoring access.

13. Intellectual property

GetEstimateFast and its site content, branding, software, and platform design are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Users retain ownership of content they submit, but grant GetEstimateFast the permission reasonably necessary to host, display, process, reproduce, and distribute that content to operate the platform and provide the requested features.

14. Third-party services and links

The platform may rely on or link to third-party services such as authentication, hosting, analytics, communications, storage, and payment providers. GetEstimateFast does not control third-party services and their separate terms and privacy practices may apply.

15. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an "as available" basis. GetEstimateFast does not guarantee that every professional is suitable for a particular project, that every request will receive a response, that estimates will be accurate, or that work will meet a particular standard. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

16. Limitation of responsibility for independent services

Customers and professionals are responsible for their direct agreements and conduct. To the extent permitted by law, GetEstimateFast is not responsible for the acts, omissions, workmanship, property damage, injuries, payment disputes, delays, licensing issues, or other outcomes arising from services independently agreed between customers and professionals.

17. Changes to the platform or Terms

We may modify platform features or update these Terms as the service evolves. The current effective date and version appear above. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

18. Governing principles

These Terms are intended to operate under applicable United States and Florida law. Any mandatory consumer rights or other legal protections continue to apply where they cannot be waived by agreement.
